I was born in Los Angeles, California. I earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree from California State University of Bakersfield and have maintained teaching credentials in California for all levels of Art Education. I have been creating, teaching and learning art for 20 years professionally. I have taught a large variety of media to all age groups and experience levels. I feel strongly that it is important for artists to constantly share, continue learning and create art that provides personal growth. Currently, I am working full time as a Visual Art Educator at the middle and high school level.
Over the years I have participated in several group shows and festivals in the State of California. My work can be found in galleries, gift shops and collectors homes around the world. I enjoy working in a large variety of media and view no art form superior or inferior to another. I prefer to start with the idea or concept and then match the media to the message.
